We are currently looking for a full time kennel technician! The kennel technician is responsible for the care of the patients within our hospital and boarding facilities. Responsibilities include walking dogs, cleaning cages, doing laundry, keeping the hospital clean and assisting the veterinary technicians as needed. This position includes weekends and holidays. No experience is needed, we are happy to train!
We are currently looking for an experienced veterinary technician! The veterinary technician is the primary support to our doctors and patients. They must be able to pay attention to detail, respond quickly and calmly to crises, and maintain very high standards of patient care. In addition, the veterinary technician must be able to communicate well with clients, showing care and concern for their pets. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: drawing blood, performing catheterizations, perform routine laboratory analyses, administer and monitor anesthesia under doctor guidance, perform routine dental cleanings, prep for and assist in surgery, assist in exam rooms including medical history and vitals, provide client education, maintain pharmacy records and fill prescriptions, take radiographs, administer medications.
